Pick-up areas
Reserved media that has been made available for you can be found in the pick-up area of its library location.
Borrowable closed stack media can be collected in the pick-up area of the Central Library (building 24.41, ground floor). Exception: media from the medical closed stack (Außenmagazin Medizin) are made available in the Medical Library (building 16.61, 4th floor).
Borrowable interlibrary loans and those delivered as copies can be found in the pick-up area for interlibrary loans on the ground floor of the Central Library.
Media in the pick-up areas can be borrowed throughout the entire opening hours.
- reserved media: 1 week
- closed stacks holdings: Tuesday until midnight
- interlibrary loans: until expiry of the loan period

All requests/reservations are sorted according to patron groups and, within these, (alpha-)numerical.

In some cases, interlibrary loans are handed out at the Central Service Desk.
Non-borrowable closed stack items and non-borrowable interlibrary loans are made available in the Special Reading Room.
Exception: non-borrowable media from the medical closed stack (Außenmagazin Medizin) are made available in the Medical Library (building 16.61, 4th floor).
