Requesting if individual volumes are listed
If the journal is in a closed stack, you can request the desired volume by clicking on Place a closed stack request in the list of individual volumes. You will be asked to log in.
The following window opens:
After clicking the button Submit request you will receive a confirmation with details of the pick-up area and collection time:
Requesting if individual volumes are not listed
If the journal is in a closed stack and the individual volumes’ list is incomplete or missing, click on Place a closed stack request. You will be asked to log in.
The required information on the journal is shown in a new window. Please add the desired volume number and the corresponding year of publication:

Please note:
Journals and newspapers cannot be borrowed. Therefore, they are only handed out for consultation in the Special Reading Room (Central Library, 1st floor) against a deposit.
Exception: non-borrowable media from the medical closed stack (Außenmagazin Medizin) are made available at the Medical Library’s service desk (building 16.61, 4th floor).
